The famous Tramore man and Elvis tribute artiste, Rocky Mills, livened up the Ryan Tubridy Show last week and brought the house down at the T-Bay Centre.
Ryan really enjoyed Rocky’s performance and said so to all and sundry. As he went into a commercial break, he declared that Rocky really needed to be seen to be appreciated to the full.
A few dozen turned up to see what was happening and also on the programme was Waterford magic star, Keith Barry; Gary Breen of Failte Ireland, South Region; Noirin O’Shea, Freddie Piper and Sue Phelan were others interviewed by the host as were the former Mayors of Waterford and Kilkenny, Jack Walsh and Tomas Breathnach. Maxine Keohan was the local politician on air. The T Bay Centre, Ireland’s oldest surf club got worthy mention and is having a better season due to better weather. Among the music groups on the show were the High Kings and the Camembert Quartet.
