Author and former BBC Chief News Correspondent Kate Adie beamed with pride when she received her Certificate of Irish Heritage at a ceremony held at Waterford Castle on Tuesday last.
Ms Adie, who received her certificate from City and County Mayors Jim D’Arcy and Billy Kyne at a special event highlighting the litany of Waterford-based events to be held during ‘The Gathering’, said she was “really thrilled” to be so acknowledged.
