CALLS were made at last week’s meeting of Waterford County Council to urgently address the issue of potholes throughout the county. Fianna Fail Councillor Michael J Ryan called on the Council to stop filling potholes with ‘dust’.“All we’re doing in certain scenarios is kicking the can down the road,” he said.
“We should stop the process of filling potholes with dust for want of a better word. We’re spending money on diesel and labour and the problem will happen again with the next shower of rain.”
