Friends and family gathered in Lenihan’s Bar, Newtown, for the presentation of the VFI Good Neighbour of the Year Award to Kevin Walsh, Scrahan. The Waterford VFI chose Kevin as their representative for the National Finals where an overall winner will be selected. Kevin was nominated by Lenihan’s Bar for his contribution to the community over the years through his involvement in sport, charity work and his love of music. We wish Kevin luck.
Sympathy
Sincere sympathy is extended to Dr Michéal Griffin, Kilmacthomas on the death of his father Philip, who died peacefully in a nursing home in Dublin at the weekend. May he rest in peace.
