Suir’s tourism potential has been placed under the South Tipperary County Council microscope in recent months, as part of an effort to attract more visitors to the greater Carrick area.
The County Council, through the European-funded ‘Waterways Forward’ policy, is placing its primary focus on the 20-kilometre long stretch of the Suir that runs between Carrick-on-Suir and Clonmel.
