The Munster Property Summer Auction is now just four weeks away which will be held on July 11th in The Rochestown Park Hotel, Douglas, Cork. The auction will offer properties from across Munster, and there is continued demand from buyers for family homes, investments and land across the region. Patrick Convey of The Munster Property Auction commented that “a shortage of rental properties across Munster has led to rent price increases, with many renters now seeking to leave the rental market if they can secure a mortgage to purchase their own home.
According to the Banking and Payments Federation Ireland mortgage approvals have increased 13% year on year up to the end of April. With the number of buyers still outstripping the number of properties for sale, now is an excellent time to look at selling.”
The auction team at The Munster Property Auction have also noticed that there is an increase in buyers looking to buy in commuter distance to the main cities and towns in Munster, where properties tend to be more affordable. The auction team are encouraging people thinking of selling to contact them about their upcoming auctions. With buyers spread across the province and further, the auction team are confident they can continue to get strong results.
