Not the best of weeks for Tramore in cup football. The senior team bowed out of the FAI Junior Cup on Sunday and 24 hours earlier the Under-12 team made their exit from the SFAI Cup in Graun Park.
Tramore missed a number of chances and they paid a heavy price for the failure to put the ball into the onion sack.
The home side were by far the better team over the course of the 60 minutes but Johnny McEvoy scored the only goal of the game for the visitors.
Conditions were far from ideal as driving wind and rain made life very difficult for the two teams, but in fairness they produced a decent game And while the seaside outfit were left disappointed at the final whistle, they could be pleased enough with their display.
