Limerick 0-14;   Waterford 0-9

Waterford’s footballers bowed out of the 2011 Championship when they went down to Munster rivals Limerick in their Round Three qualifier in the Gaelic Grounds last Saturday evening.

In the end, the loss of key players in the lead-up to this game proved critical and the depleted Waterford side had no answer to Limerick’s second half surge which propelled them to victory.
