Abbeyside confined Stradbally to a third successive defeat in this year’s county SHC Championship on Sunday evening last when they ran out victors with 13 points to spare.
Goals in the opening half by Patrick Hurney and Mark Gorman had the villagers leading 2-8 to 0-5 lead at the break; with the third goal scored by veteran Laurence Hurney rounding off a good win for Abbeyside.
