Carrick United 1; Hibernians 0

Carrick United made it five victories from five games on Sunday in Tom Drohan Park, but this was by far their hardest game of the current campaign. They required a penalty, scored by Thomas Fitzgerald after 36 minutes, to take all of the points on offer.

This young Hibs team, managed by Lee Douglas, are coming on in leaps and bounds and the glory days could soon return to Mitchel Kennedy Park if they continue to turn in displays like this. They were dreadfully unlucky not to take at least a point.
