Five school building projects in Waterford have been thankfully advanced to the next stage by the Department of Education, including Gaelscoil Philib Barún in Tramore.
“This is great news for the school, news we’ve been waiting a long time for,” according to Principal Daithí de Paor. “The project will now progress into the architectural planning.”
A design team will soon get to work on formulating extension and refurbishment plans for Glór na Mara National School, also in Tramore.
Meanwhile, projects for new schools at Gaelscoil na nDéise (Gracedieu, Waterford city), Waterford Educate Together (Waterford city) and Presentation Secondary School (Waterford city) have entered into their tendering phase.
