Cappamore (Limerick) 3-10; Ballinameela 2-6

Cappamore showed no side effects of having to play two games in the space of 60 hours when accounting for a Ballinameela side needed three attempts to reach this stage of the competition.
The home side began in whirlwind fashion and raced into a 1-5 to 0-0 lead after just 15 minutes, the goal coming from Andy Murphy who was to add another crucial score later in the game.
Ballinameela’s first score of the game came after 16 minutes when Jim Curran, their most impressive attacking player in the opening half, hit the net to cut the Limerick side’s advantage to five.
