Southend United 0; Tramore 2

Tramore continue to set a hot pace at the top of the league table and surely they must now be dreaming of winning the title. They are unbeaten to date and the league crown is very much in their sights right now.

They took a while to break down a Southend team who have been moving in the wrong direction during the past few weeks. The Seasiders took the lead after 62 minutes when Robbie Phelan rose at the back post to head past Cliff Kearney following a corner kick taken from the right by Leigh Quilty.

Three minutes later the same two players combined but this time Phelan struck the woodwork with a header. Micheal Downey wrapped up the points for Tramore one minute from full time, running on to a pass from Pat McCarthy and shooting to the net from just inside the penalty area.
