Southend United 1; Courtown Hibernians 2 (AET)

Southend United and Courtown Hibernians played out an exciting SFAI Under 13 game in Southend Park on Saturday last.
The Wexford team came out on top following extra time. James Flynn was the player who scored what proved to be the winning goal early in the second half of the extra time period. The previous week the same two clubs met in the Under 14 Cup and Southend won that game, but on this occasion the Model County boys just about shaded the contest.
Southend got off to the perfect start in the game as they went in front inside two minutes when Conor Hartley forced the first corner kick of the game and when Brandon Mylett whipped in the ball from the right, Conor Dunphy was on hand to hammer the ball to the roof of the net from close range.
