It was a real treat to see the panto Humpty Dumpty performed at St Michael’s Theatre by the venerable New Ross Pantomime Society last week. This was a rare show and in over forty years I had never seen it performed. They are a crowd-pleasing adventurous lot in New Ross and this traditional Ron Hall show was special for me. More years ago than I care to recall I met Ron Hall at a series of panto workshops at the Brandon Hotel and it was wonderful to learn from a NODA master.
