The David Hennessy Gospel Choir brought a glorious shot of high energy youth to the Christ Church Cathedral Coffee Concerts – a double espresso of gospel and pop to delight and savour. The forty or so bright smiling eager and happy faces sang from the heart and their enthusiasm was infectious. The cathedral echoed the hair rose on the back of my neck and I felt the happiness, the vitality as this group sang out as they clapped, swayed and soared.
