Garter Lane Arts Centre had a gem of history and entertainment with singer/performer Ignacio Jarquin in his one-man show Caruso and the Quake. This is a beautiful festival style show in two acts telling the impact that the 1906 San Francisco earthquake had on the then most famous singer in the world. Enrico Caruso was the first to achieve sales of over a million records for Vesti La Giubba (on with the Motley) from Pagliacci.

Jarquin plays a series of characters very well and he has a modest but attractive light singing voice to deliver O Sole Mio and Vesti with feeling and emotion.
