Waterford’s oldest surviving dramatic society will present a three-play programme at The Granary from Thursday, 20th November, for three nights.
Two of the one-acts were award winners at the 123 Festival in Lismore. Denise Quinn will star in the one-woman show Winsome Webster about the unexpected adventure of a lonely widow. Peggy McCarthy will star with Hugo Donovan and Denise Quinn in an Amelia Clancy directed Tennessee Williams play, Lady Of Larkspur Lotion.
Cathy McGuigan will direct a light hearted look at the backstage antics at an Amdram group in Don’t Mention The Dream and will feature Shauna Farrell (seen recently in Hound and Diversions on the Bus), Ann Hickey, Damien Dixon and Jenny Clooney, star of Little Red Kettle’s Romeo And Juliet.
