Kilrossanty 0-12;  Brickey Rangers 0-9

Kilrossanty appear to have hit form at just the right time of season with a third win on the bounce by a three-point margin setting up a semi-final with Ballinacourty.
The first quarter of this game can be best described as instantly forgettable.
Notes taken in the opening 15 minutes of the game showed that Kilrossanty led 4-3 but that was on the wide count. Remarkably, neither side managed a single point during all that time.
But when the scores did come, they were like a bus, with more than one turning up within a few minutes of each other.
The opening score fell to the Brickeys’ Conor McGrath in the 20th minute, with the excellent Paul Whyte replying for Kilrossanty in a matter of seconds.
Joey Veale and Niall Walsh followed up with points for the Comeragh Men giving them a two-point advantage with five minutes of the opening half remaining.
