Waterford County Council decided this week to proceed with the development of the National Surf Lifeguard Training Centre in a new, iconic beach building at the Lower Promenade in Tramore.
The project will be developed in association with the Tramore Surf Lifesaving Club and will be a centre of excellence in Ireland providing state of the art training and infrastructure to life saving organisations.
