Up to eight houses throughout the city were raided by members of Waterford Garda Station’s Drugs Unit early on Monday morning.
A number of drugs seizures were made during the course of the raids, which took place at Cannon Street, Wilkin Street and a number of other locations.
One man was arrested during the course of the raids and detained at Waterford Garda Station. He has since been released.
Elsewhere, a Garda patrol car was rammed during an incident at Kilcohan Park in the early hours of Sunday morning.
