What have Cork tycoon (and Signor Trapattoni benefactor) Denis O’Brien and Tiger Woods got in common?
No, it’s not some sort of smutty joke, but the fact that both men are reportedly donating fortunes – €3m and $3m respectively – to help earthquake victims in Haiti.
Presumably approved from whatever ‘sex addiction clinic’ he’s reportedly holed up in, Woods’ anonymous donation was made public by a rapper friend on Twitter and more or less confirmed by the foundation that arranges his charitable deeds.
Every cloud has a silver lining. Possibly a very golden one in poor Elin’s case.
