Dungarvan defeated West Waterford outfit Pinewood Rangers 5-0. Tony Fitzgerald (2) Nicky Donnelly (2) and Dave Sheridan the goalscorerers. Fitzgerald opened the scoring with a volley from all of 30 yards. Johnville fell behind to a goal from Eamon Walsh against Pinewood away from home but second half goals from Gavin Phelan and John O’Leary eventually gave them victory.
