Sliabh gCua’s first taste of Munster Championship Football ended in disappointment in Puckane on Sunday last when they were beaten by the Tipperary Champions who had four points to spare.
Fielding seven of the Thomas McDonagh group side that won the Senior Football Championship, the Puckane outfit was always on top in this game, but credit to Sliabh gCua they kept fighting to the end.
Sliabh gCua played with the strong wind at their backs in the first half but some poor shooting in front of goal was to prove costly.
