Four goals by Chris Davies proved too much for Bohemians in the final of the Munster Youth Cup final in Mounthawk Park, Tralee on Sunday afternoon. This was the first time that a team from Kerry lifted a Munster soccer title. The Waterford side had no answer to the power of Davies and although they never stopped trying, the title went to the best team.
Bohemians settled reasonably well and had a real chance to go in front on eight minutes when Johnny Walsh battled for possession before setting up Jason Keane; however, the midfielder was just off-target with a left-footed shot from the edge of the penalty area.
