Six employees at Chartbusters in Ardkeen Shopping Centre are waiting anxiously to discover if their jobs are safe following the examinership process in which the video rental chain is currently engaged.
Chartbusters has 37 stores nationally, employing 267 people, but the company has debts of around €20 million
It is expected that 20 profitable stores will be retained and the Waterford staff are hopeful theirs will be among those that survive.
