Adam McSharry scored a hat-trick as Carrick United ran riot against St Saviours in Tom Drohan Park. He opened the scoring after 20 minutes and Ian Cleary made it 2-0 before half time.
McSharry scored two more goals in the second half and Keith Walsh also got in on the scoring act. To compound a bad day for the Saints, Pat Arrigan, a substitute was sent off. One of Adam McSharry’s second half goals was a magnificent overhead kick.
Ian Cleary’s goal was a superb solo goal, as he beat off three tackles before crashing the ball to the net.
