Carrick United  1; Pike Rovers (Limerick) 0

The inaugural Munster Champions League competition certainly burst into life on Sunday evening in Ozier Park when the Waterford champions Carrick United had to display all of their battling qualities to beat the Limerick kingpins Pike Rovers.
The result means that Carrick will now play the Kerry champions Killarney Celtic in the final at a venue to be named late this week.
Pike Rovers finished  the game with ten players, but that was not the main talking point of a game which was one of the best seen at Ozier Park for many a long day.
