Having won their 9th Waterford Premier League title last Wednesday night, Carrick United travelled to Bishopstown on Sunday to play Cork City in the semi-final of the Munster Senior Cup.
Tommy Dunne picked a full strength City team for the clash with Carrick and following their excellent away draw with Shelbourne in the Airtricity League the previous Friday they were expected to easily book a final date with Limerick in the final.
