Two goals from Kevin ‘Goosie’ Roche were good enough to move Ferrybank into the top half of the table and keep Bohemians rooted to the bottom along with Dungarvan United who did not play last weekend.
Roche opened the scoring from the penalty spot after 22 minutes and he wrapped up the contest 4 minutes from full-time.
Ferrybank have now got a total of ten points, just four behind the joint leaders.
Their new manager Wayne Russell has certainly made a quick impact at the Village Grounds.
