An inquest on a County Kilkenny man, who died in a stabbing incident in Tramore, was adjourned in Waterford last week, pending the completion of criminal proceedings.
Michael Dwyer (25) died from a stab wound to the left side of his chest at Seafield Holiday Homes, Riverstown, Tramore, on January 10th, 2014.
Evidence of identification of the body was given by Paul Dwyer, the brother of the deceased man.
Waterford City Coroner John Goff, Solr, said a post mortem examination on the body was carried out by State Pathologist, Professor Marie Cassidy.
The cause of death was a stab wound to the chest. Criminal proceedings were pending and the inquest would have to be adjourned, he said.
