Transition Year student’s from St Paul’s Community College got together earlier this year and came up with the idea of raising money for the Brick By Brick Fundraising effort in Ballybeg.
They organised a sponsored cycle on May 7th last in John Roberts Square and the total miles covered would have brought them the equivalent of travelling from Malin Head to Mizen Head with both students and teachers taking part.
In all they raised a total of €3,235 for the fund, a magnificent amount by a very dedicated group of fundraisers.
Recently they handed over the cheque to this worthy cause before they broke up for their summer holidays.
