Waterford County Council called on the Minister for Agricultural this week to acknowledge the importance of Dunmore East fisheries harbour to the economic development of the rural areas of East Waterford and to provide funding for the dredging of the harbour.
Cllr Pat Fitzgerald (SF) said Dunmore harbour had always been an economic driver for East Waterford.
