The Minister for the Environment, Deputy Phil Hogan, confirmed this week that his Department and Kilkenny County Council were implementing a €1m investment in the Ferrybank Shopping Centre.
Due to be open for retail business by April of next year, Deputy Hogan stressed to The Munster Express on Monday afternoon that his decision ‘effectively opens the Ferrybank Shopping Centre’. The €1m investment will provide new library facilities and a new Area Office for Kilkenny Co Council to transact its business in South Kilkenny.
