This game which was played at the RSC on Friday night last was a unique event and before a ball was kicked everyone was a winner.
The match was the second such gathering of former players and present day supporters and apart from raising finance for the Supporters Club, the Eric Butler Appeal Fund were also the beneficiaries of the contest.
The majority of the players on both sides had received sponsorship and thankfully a tidy four figure sum was raised.
