Private waste collectors were trying their utmost to put Waterford Co. Council’s bin collection service out of business, County Mayor Liam Brazil claimed at last week’s meeting of the Council.
Cllr Brazil said the Council was committed to the public and its service was “the best in the country” with regular weekly collections. “Council trucks go up and down boreens around the county to collect waste,” he said.
