Waterford native Paul Bolger has been short listed for an Academy Award for his animated film Hamster Heaven.
The film, written and directed by Paul and released through Breakthru Films and his own Pillarstone Productions, joins 44 other animated features from around the world on the Oscar shortlist.
Paul is a design graduate of WIT and has worked in the international animation and film business since 1987. Paul has worked in all manner of mediums, from major feature films to television series and video games as far afield as the UK, EU and Eastern Europe, and with Australia and the USA. He has also taught at the world-renowned Ballyfermot and Dún Laoghaire animation colleges in Dublin.
