Waterford City Council has been named as Ireland’s leading City Council at the eighth annual Chambers Ireland Excellence in Local Government Awards, held in association with the Department of Environment, Community & Local Government.
The Council also won three additional national awards: Waterford Harvest Festival receiving the Festival of the Year award; Destination Waterford City won an award for supporting tourism and Waterford City Development Board was recognised for its ‘Doing it for Ourselves’ campaign.
