Waterford Music’s contribution to the excellent Imagine Festival was a top class concert by the RTE Vanbrugh Quartet in the Large Room, City Hall.
This was a glorious treat as it featured a fine Frederick May String Quartet to celebrate the centenary of the Dublin-born composer (born 1911) Gregory Ellis of the Quartet described May as the Irish Schonberg and the piece had a lot of European influences.
