Butlerstown and Ballinameela will have to meet again this coming Saturday to decide who will claim this year’s Junior hurling county title after playing out an exciting draw in Carriganore last Sunday.

But with Ballinameela due to play St Saviours in the SFC relegation play-off and the winners of this final due for Munster Championship action this Sunday, the draw provides a further fixture headache for the County Board.

Ballinameela must have thought that they had done enough to win this game when a superb performance from Jim Curran had put them into a 0-8 to 2-1 lead as the game entered injury time.
