Local and Multinational firms from around the region turned out in strength at the Waterford and South East ‘Careers Expo’ last Friday in the Tower Hotel.

The event, hosted and organised by Waterford Chamber, brought together a multitude of companies and job seekers under one roof, in order to inject some positivity to the current jobs crisis facing the region.

Mayor Pat Hayes opened the exhibition, urging politicians across the region and in government to come together for the good of the region.

Speaking after to The Munster Express, Mayor Hayes was emphatic about the need for help to given to those who need it.
