In recent years, The Nire and Stradbally have become very familiar with each other, meeting in a number of important clashes since the turn of the Millennium.
When they clash, a few things is almost guaranteed, a low scoring game, not much will separate the sides and there fair severed up will be a drab. It was much the same this time around with both teams already through to the last eight.
