Three first half goals for Mount Sion proved the major contributing factors in the Monastery men’s nine-point win over De La Salle at a windy Ballygunner on Saturday afternoon last.
This victory was the perfect riposte from a Sion side which had lost to the same opponents in the opening round of this year’s JHC, with Mount Sion’s greater strength in depth proving pivotal on this occasion.
