Fourmilewater have progressed to the County Senior Hurling quarter finals for the second year in a row, while Abbeyside have failed to reach the knockout phase for the second successive season.
While Fourmilewater opened the scoring when Jamie Barron hit a free with less than a minute played, it was Abbeyside that settled the quicker and quickly romped into a four point lead.
