Stephen Dalton scored his fourth goal of the new campaign to put St Saviour’s top of the league table on Sunday morning at the Glass Complex. The Ballybeg Super Saints opened up the season by drawing with Ferrybank but three wins on the trot against Hibernians, Piltown and now Crystal have eased them into pole position.
They had to line out without Joe Twomey and Phil Penkert but they still had too many aces against a Crystal team who have a total of four points from their opening four games. This was a very tight game and from early on it was clear that one goal would decide the contest.
