An inspired second-half performance by the former Carrick United player Adam McSherry helped Waterford United to a facile victory over Salthill Devon at the RSC on Friday night last.
The gifted left-footed player tore the Co Galway side apart and he marked his full debut with two excellent goals and an assist. Paul Walsh, another player who was playing in the local Premier League until recently with Bohemians, also performed superbly in this game and he added much needed quality out on the right side.
