The Waterford League had little difficulty beating the Kerry League in Ozier Park on Sunday afternoon last. The locals are comprised of many of the players who won last season’s U14 All-Ireland title and going on this display they could go all the way once again this time around.
They held the upper hand all through, but the fact that Kerry had a player red carded on the stroke of half-time made their task a lot easier. Aaron O’Connor was the player who received his marching orders, and his actions resulted in a penalty which gave Waterford the lead. The visitors never recovered from that double blow just before the break.
