A talented Waterford Crystal team proved too strong for a brave Dungarvan United team on Saturday last at the Waterford Glass Complex. The home side held all of the aces in what was their first game of the season.
The youngsters from Kilrush Park lost their opening match against Villa and they were keen to get something from this game but they found the going tough in the blistering heat.
Both sides had some very talented players and at times the football played was top class, but at the end of the day the hosts just had that little extra bit of power and they deserved the points on offer.
