A second shooting incident linked to an ongoing Traveller feud occurred at Farran Park in the early hours of Tuesday morning, when two shots were fired at a house.
Gardai have appealed for information in relation to a small car seen driving from the estate at 2.35am and say they are constantly monitoring the area as part of their investigations. Nobody was injured during the shooting and there was no damage done to the property.
This is the second such incident in Farran Park – a number of shots were fired at a house in the estate in the early hours of last Thursday morning. Farran Park is one of a number of city estates which has been the subject of 24-hour Garda patrols since the violent feud erupted last month.
